Newborn photography
The experience I have built up around handling and photographing newborns, I hope can be an extra security for you as parents, when you entrust your loved ones to me for a few hours.
During a newborn photo shoot, the child’s safety and well-being will always be my top priority. It’s warm and cozy in the studio and we set aside plenty of time. Everything I do will be on the baby’s terms! If he shows slight displeasure by lying in a particular position, I interrupt and find another position, and there will always be a safe hand nearby to protect and support.
When do I book an appointment?
Order well in advance of the due date. Then I always have one available for you when the baby arrives. I know babies tend to come when it suits them. But with close contact towards the end date, I will keep the days open for you. Call me as soon as the child is born. Then it will be easier for me to find an appointment before the child is 14 days old.

How many days can the child be?
Preferably between 8-14 days
Why within 14 days?
This is because the children often sleep very heavily in the first 10 days, and nice newborn photos depend a lot on the children sleeping well. After these first days, the children begin to stretch out of the fetal position, which is so beautiful in pictures. Children in deep sleep can also be moved around in different positions without them waking up and becoming restless, this is important for getting good pictures.
How much does the photography cost?
Newborn photography costs from NOK 1895, 0-3 weeks (only photography, no pictures)
I set aside three hours in a well-heated studio, and serve coffee to the parents. The photography does not have to take as long as three hours, but I set up plenty of time for relaxation and for the little one to find peace.

Can we bring siblings?
I do not recommend having siblings along for newborn photography. It’s because I depend on peace to get good pictures of the little one. Here, of course, the age of the sibling plays a big role. 4+ tends to go well, but costs extra. (see price list)
If you want to take photos of the children together, the siblings must be brought in to me at the beginning of the photo shoot. After the pictures have been taken, the sibling must be driven home or to nursery school.
Sibling photos cost NOK 500 (per sibling) in addition to the photography.
Can the parents be in the picture?
Of course, I think it’s really nice to photograph proud parents with the little one.
Preferably wear neutral (preferably white, black) t-shirts/sweaters.
Does it cost extra?
No, this is included in the photography if you wish.
What should we bring?
My studio has everything we need for your photography. You don’t need to bring anything, just the changing bag!
I have everything for lending. Carpets in many colours, teddy bears, beds, hats, etc.
What happens afterwards?
A free viewing appointment is set up to see a presentation of the images with me. Here I show the pictures big with music. I get feedback on this as a very pleasant experience.

Weekend dates are available and are $100.00 extra.
For evening and weekend appointments it is best to schedule at the very least 2-3 weeks ahead of time as there is limited availability.
Assistants
Assistants are generally present in the session to assist in baby safety.
Clothing
Clothing is available for Maternity and Newborns. For newborns, we have an endless supply of blankets, headbands, tieback, knits and props so you don’t need to bring anything. For maternity, our studio has over 200 gowns to use for Maternity. Limited clothing options are available for Children. Please call to discuss what is available. You are welcome to change clothes during session.
Background
Our studio has a variety backgrounds. You are welcome to choose your favorite backgrounds.
Hair and Makeup
Hair and makeup is available for fees paid to the Stylist.
Ordering
We have a full product catalog available of prints, books, canvases, frames and other items.
At no time are RAW images included in any package. Images are hi resolution and will print just fine. For large wall prints, we do suggest ordering from our studio to guarantee quality.We do not sell our images and always have them backed up in several places.
For Celebrity or Hi Profile sessions the images are stored on a secure network.
Payments
Payments are made at time of booking in full for all sessions. All orders must be paid for at time of ordering session. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, checks and cash. Sales tax is not charged on session fees, it is charged on products orders.
Cancellation
If you choose to cancel your session completely, a 15% credit card chargeback fee will apply.
Scheduling
Scheduling appointments are handled over the telephone. For newborns we suggest photographing within the first two weeks of birth. Newborn appointments should be scheduled either BEFORE delivery or WITHIN 24-48 hours of giving birth.
Social Media
I’m very active in Social Media, however; I does respect the right to privacy. Sneak peaks are available after sessions and I will always ask if you would like images posted to Social Media. If you do not want images posted publicity please mention at your session. I’m very careful about her work and rarely shows nude or personal images unless it has been pre-approved by the subjects.
Video
Video is captured during your session for our digital sessions and edited once the images are complete. Video length can be anywhere from 3-7 minutes depending upon the type of session. video production occurs once the images have been fully edited and delivered to the client. Video production can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks after the images are completed and delivered to the client.
